THE SAFETY OF TOBRAMYCIN INHALATION SOLUTION (BETHKIS) DURING PREGNANCY OR BREASTFEEDING
THIS MEDICATION CAN CAUSE HARM TO YOUR BABY: Aminoglycoside antibiotics are considered harmful in pregnant women. Although there is limited information showing that inhaled tobramycin is unsafe during pregnancy, use caution. In pregnant and nursing women with cystic fibrosis, your doctor may recommend continuing inhaled tobramycin therapy when the benefit to the mother outweighs the risk to the developing baby.
