THE SAFETY OF REPATHA DURING PREGNANCY OR BREASTFEEDING

 

THIS MEDICATION CAN CAUSE HARM TO YOUR BABY: Repatha should not be taken during pregnancy unless the benefits of treatment outweigh the potential risks to the baby. There have been no human studies that have looked at the safety of Repatha during pregnancy, but animal studies indicate that taking similar PCSK9 inhibitor medications such as Repatha during pregnancy may suppress immunity in newborn babies.
