THE SAFETY OF INTEGRILIN (EPTIFIBATIDE) DURING PREGNANCY OR BREASTFEEDING

THIS MEDICATION CAN CAUSE HARM TO YOUR BABY: Integrilin (eptifibatide) should only be used during pregnancy if medically necessary, as determined by your doctor. No sufficient and well-controlled human studies have looked at the safety of eptifibatide during pregnancy, and there is very little data on its use in pregnancy. Eptifibatide may be a life-saving medication for moms experiencing an acute coronary syndrome. In these cases, your doctor may determine that the benefits of treatment outweigh the potential risks to the baby.
