Who here is happy to stay at home?!

I know this is touchy. What are your opinions. Some women need to get out. I love being at home with my daughter. Watching her grow, and watching her learn new things every day. I wouldn't change it for anything! I'm thankful my husband supports the idea!

Im on the same boat. I love that i can stay at home, I feel it is a blessing at the same time. my husband is supportive as well, but I don't think its something I wanna do forever..

Stay at home is the best way to get the best of both worlds.

Though not a lot of moms right now has the capability to do that.

I do enjoy staying at home and being able to take care of the family, my husband supports the idea as well but I just love working as well, I feel like it gives me a break.

I am excited to stay at home with my kiddos, but I do work from home so I am able to have a little bit of both worlds. My mom was a SAHM and I REALLY appreciate that she was. I had such a great childhood, and I want to give that to my kids as well. I know it's going to be a challenge to balance working at home with taking care of a baby, but I feel like it will be worth it in the end.

I love staying at home, and I am currently in search of online jobs that would let me work from home. But i have to admit that I need some time to go out once in a while

I love staying at home with my baby but it can take a toll on your mental health

I enjoy staying home for the most part! However, if I had an opportunity to do something I loved part-time, I would be likely to go for it! (I also have the advantage of family nearby to watch my son without cost & with peace of mind, so that certainly makes a difference).

I love being able to stay at home with my daughter, but after all but a month of my pregnancy and 10 months of my daughters life being at home, along with other circumstances that I won't go into, I feel like a prisoner in my home. I have never been more depressed in my life than I am after all the isolation and other things I have endured. I would give a limb to be able to work again, but I don't have a choice.

I'm a SAHM too and love it. It's not the right choice for everyone for personal reasons, but for me, it feels like it's what I was always meant to do. Not having an income can be a struggle but honestly the financial sacrifice is worth it to be the one raising my little girl.

I'm at home most of the time, but I do work a couple of days a week. I'm able to work from home when I need/want to be here but it also gives me a good chance to get out of the house if I want to go into the office on the days I work. The best of both worlds in my opinion! (Though I know not everyone has the opportunity for a set up like this... I definitely count it as a blessing!)

My husband was raised by a stay at home mom and even homeschooled! He fully supports me doing this and even told me he knew I would want to stay home when we eventually had babies. I doubted him and turns out HE WAS RIGHT!

I love staying at home! I never thought I would but now that I do I'm not sure I ever want to give it up. I'm in grad school currently which is great for two breaks during the week but I'm not sure I will ever use my degree outside of working from home! I can't imagine someone else raising my babies!

Me! Me me! I stay home and love every second of it. I work on Upwork and am in 6 classes so it is very tough right now. I feeel like my boyfriend does not help at all and I do everything alone ;(

I do the same thing as you and feel great about my decision. It's definitely not for everybody, but it's right for me. I feel good about being the one to take care of my child and she's not in daycare all day with strangers. I think it's really fulfilling work to be with her during these first few years!

I have been home now for almost 6 months. I worked the first year after having my daughter and it was so hard. I felt like I was missing so much, so we came up with a plan and i was able to quit my job, found a sweet little WFH job and that helps.Things are tight but I wouldnt change it bc I get to be home with her.

I've been home for 6 years.  My youngest is 4 and being a SAHM has been the hardest thing I have ever done.  These past 6 years have been so special but I think Im finally ready to get back to work

I'm starting a plan with my hubby to stay home! I've been a working mom for 5 years and love the idea of being home with my kids -- even though I know the work will be MUCH harder! My daughter also has special needs so It'd open up our schedule for different things, too!
