My partner and I were discussing labor, and he was curious when we all know to push. It got me wondering if this varies woman to woman. Obviously the process is the same, but I wonder If the body interprets it differently. In my case, it was an overwhelming pressure. I've heard some describe it as needing to poop but mine was totally different from that. It was seriously like someone was pushing on my vagina since obviously my daughter was trying to. 😅 😅  How would you describe it?

When I pushed with my son, it felt like I needed to poop! Lol. When I had the epidural, they had too much going and I couldn't feel a lot at all, so I also had some guidance of when a contraction was coming. It's so weird that all of us experience it differently!

When I had an epidural, the doctors allowed me to linger in the 10 cm range for a while so he sort of birthed himself! It was a great experience!

Totally felt like I needed to poop! Lol! Eventually it was replaced with a pressure on my pubic bone that was horrific. I wished it stayed like the pooping sensation! lol!

It was totally a need-to-poop feel for me! Haha! I had a really hard time because I just wanted to be in the bathroom - not in a bed!

It felt like crazy menstrual cramps with a slight need to poop feel. Eventually it was insane pressure on my back. I wish it stayed like the poop feeling! That back pain was horrific!

I felt incredible pressure but I didn’t know if it meant I should push or not! Luckily my nurse helped me a ton and guided me. Not a poop feeling just mega pressure.

Fro me it was a really strong pressure that I need to push through every contraction ...that made me feel really really exhausted. I really wonder how we manage to gather so much energy then...right mommies ?

Your body will definitely let you know when it’s time to push.  I promise

I didn’t believe how serious people were when they said your body will push. When the time is right you’ll know.

When it came time to push I felt like I had to have a bowel movement really bad. But really i determined when I pushed based off of what my doctor said I was dilated to and when they gave me the go ahead.
