Would you forever outsource if you could?

I don’t think I would, because I am a do it myself person.

What do you mean by “mom chore”? I would outsource ALL housework if I could! Cooking and cleaning would be the first to go!

abigail posted this 11 March 2019

diapers and dishes ugh i hate doing dishes!! and diapers theres literally so many lmao we have to change our diaper genie like twice sometimes 3 times a week 😓

MIA posted this 11 March 2019

I am a clean freak also so if it was gonna be done to my liking I would give up all lol

Lorie posted this 11 March 2019

Mine would have to be the never ending laundry!!! I would love to give that one up for sure!!

Sam posted this 11 March 2019

taking out the diaper trash bag - so nasty. I am also in charge of cleaning up our Corgi's poo outside. I am always feeling like the queen of poop

I feel the same way! I feel like I spend SO much time folding laundry and I always dread doing it!

Melani posted this 12 March 2019

Cleaning, laundry, and cooking .... ughhh

Mommy duties. Lol

Mattea posted this 12 March 2019

Doing the dishes!!!! For some reason I would rather vacuum, fold laundry or anything else but dishes. I cringe when I can’t get all the dishes in the dishwasher. 😕

Nicole posted this 12 March 2019

Bathrooms!!! So gross

Rhonda posted this 15 March 2019

Cooking. At the end of the day I am tired and do not feel like making meals. Add cleaning dishes to that too.

Linda posted this 15 March 2019

Taking out the trash. The huge trash can in the garage is way stinky and at night possums have been spotted lurking. 😳

Briana posted this 15 March 2019

Not sure if this qualifies as a "mom chore" but taking out my cats litter! Yuck. And since our little one has arrived, she has been peeing on the ways and not covering her poop, which means more clean up for me. I hate it

I'd get rid of dishes and bathrooms for sure! I have boys so...YUCK!! I love to cook so I'd never ever outsource that chore. Even when I'm tired, I'd rather cook than do anything else. But I won't cook in a dirty kitchen so it's a vicious cycle because no one wants to do the dishes.

Harmony posted this 18 March 2019

If my car could be perpetually clean that would be great. Such a big pet peeve of mine. We are constantly in the car and usually eating as well and it's almost always dirty, inside and out.

Anna posted this 18 March 2019

Sweeping and mopping!!! Keeping the floors clean is so impossible and tedious.

I'd say laundry! I hate washing it and folding it. We have loads and loads and loads all the time. It seems neverending!

I'm going to say cleaning the bathrooms and doing the dishes. I keep telling myself that when I make enough money I'm hiring a cleaning person to come once a week! Uggh!

Ok, this is one that I don't like for sure...dusting. I hate dusting with a passion. I don't know if it's because I can't reach all the areas, or if it is because I neglect it for so long that it gets so bad. It flies everywhere. Then I'm sneezing and sniffing.

Folding laundry. I hate it. It never ends!!!

I'm going to say all of the above options! Maybe it's just me but I really dislike all mom chores. Can't I just be a mom? LOL! No seriously though bathrooms are gross, dishes are tedious, laundry is tiring. I think I'd keep taking out the trash. That is easy enough for me because we have a rolling can.

Reba posted this 21 March 2019

Which is the lesser of the two evils? LOL! The bathtub can get so grimy and the toilet is just plain gross. You know I use those toilet drop-ins which does make things a little easier. I get the Clorox ones with bleach and I have to say they do work wonders. I wish they made some that weren't so caustic though.

Cleaning the bathroom: toilet and bathtub. Ugh. It has to be done.

Amy posted this 24 March 2019

Definitely bathrooms. I absolutely hate cleaning bathrooms.

Carrie posted this 24 March 2019

Definitely cleaning bathrooms or doing dishes. Both are so tedious and ugh.

Ann posted this 26 March 2019

Same on the diaper trash bag...

Cooking. It's fun if I have the time and energy, but usually I don't sooo it becomes a hassle. I'd kill for a personal chef  So would my husband haha

Abby posted this 15 May 2019

If I never had to cook again I wouldn't be mad about it one bit! I hate cooking! I told my husband is was a stipulation of our marriage that he took on when we got married.. I dont like to cook, therefor I am not a good cook!

Smruti posted this 15 May 2019

For me it would be cleaning the house and bathrooms and folding clothes after they are washed😄

Allegra posted this 15 May 2019

Mopping for sure. I hate it and I feel like it needs done again immediately after I finish. So frustrating!

Anna posted this 16 May 2019

Laundry... hate it with a passion lol. Luckily hubby doesnt mind it.

user3 posted this 16 May 2019

I would outsource changing diapers! We use cloth... enough said! When my husband volunteers to change LO for me, I'm like, "THANK YOU, JESUS!!!"

Fiona posted this 17 May 2019

We don't have a dishwasher, so that's number 1. If there was a dishwasher, I would say the chore I would love to see someone else do is the laundry.

Kate posted this 17 May 2019

I mean, if I had unlimited funds, I would outsource pretty much all housework. First on my list would be hiring a house cleaner though. I hate cleaning, and I'm honestly just not good at it. Not that I don't know how to do it or anything, but I just don't have a good system, so the whole house is never actually clean all at once.

Kaylee posted this 17 May 2019

Cooking FOR SURE!  Dishes would be a close second

Ashley posted this 17 May 2019

Cleaning for sure! But I'm also a perfectionist and I don't think I could hire a cleaning person b/c I'd want to make sure they are doing it how I would and I feel like no one would please me. It's a nice thought though!

Carla posted this 17 May 2019

Cleaning the house! It would be so nice to not have to worry about that!

Brianna posted this 17 May 2019

How about making money? I'd take a sugar daddy so that I could just be home with my LO! 😂

Gabby posted this 17 May 2019

I would have to say cooking for sure! I have never liked it!!

Maggie posted this 17 May 2019

Definitely dishes - I would outsource dishes, lol. I even have a dishwasher, but im too lazy to put them away - haha

Karen posted this 17 May 2019

Laundry!!!!! This is my least favorite chore 🤦🏾‍♀️

Noel posted this 17 May 2019

All of them lol. If I had to only choose one I'd get rid of Laundry

olivia posted this 18 May 2019

Laundry 🤦🏾‍♀️  It’s not the washing it’s the folding and putting away lol

Alexia posted this 19 May 2019

Just all the cleaning. I need a full time housekeeper, or maybe even a live-in housekeeper. I feel like my house is constantly a mess!

ann posted this 19 May 2019

I’d have to give up cleaning the bathrooms. I have a 4 year old and potty training my 21 month old. I don’t think I need to go any further lol.

Ellie posted this 19 May 2019

Folding and putting away laundry for sure!! That's the chore I never seem to get done!😩

Violet posted this 19 May 2019

Cleaning the bathroom. I hate cleaning toilets!

Jennifer posted this 23 May 2019

COOKING. For sure.  If I never cooked again... or had to meal plan or prep... I'd be so happy 😂

Momzie posted this 23 May 2019

I love cleaning bathtubs, but don't enjoy cleaning bath stalls or toilets that much. I guess we all do what we have to do. lol I would gladly outsource dishwashing, and toilet cleaning.

Ashley posted this 26 May 2019

ALL OF THE CLEANING!!!! Oh my gosh. I'm a clean person. But since I had kids it just seems like I can't get ahead. They destroy EVERYTHING cleaner than I can keep up. My house is in a constant state of disarray. I wish I could afford a live-in Alice because I definitely need someone here 24/7 to help me tackle all of this!

Emily posted this 26 May 2019

Ugh! What WOULDN'T I outsource?! Husband + baby + 3 dogs = CONSTANT MESS! 😡

If I had to choose though, definitely dusting, floors, and detailing...you would not believe how often I have to wipe down my walls - WALLS! - thanks to wet/dirty pups 😰

I've learned to just let some stuff go - like I mop maybe once every couple of weeks, but as baby starts crawling and walking....I don't know what I'm going to do!

Kara posted this 26 May 2019

Putting away laundry and dishes!  Those are my 2 that I procrastinate on the most!

Ava posted this 26 May 2019

Hey did you say Outsource...!! Almost everything you know like cleaning the bathrooms, doing the laundry, folding the clothes, carrying the bags of groceries, soemdays I also feel if someone good just do the cooking  food for me as well. And how can I miss this one out, also clear all the mess kids do and putting things back in place every day. Interesting thing I read the other day, on making good use of time  in things which add value - so I will be happy reading, listening to music, writing, dancing excercising and doing some creative stuff with all the time taht I could save on.

Ava posted this 26 May 2019

Did you say Outsource !!! Wow that will just be great..I would almost outsource everything right from dusting the house, cleaning the bathrooms, doing the laundry, folding the clothes, somedays i also wish I could have someone do the cooking. And yes cleaning all the mess the kids make at the end of the day - and putting things back in place.

You know what, I happened to read something interesting, every day you need to do things which nourish you and add value - so with all the time saved - I would be happy doing some reading, writing, excercising, and spending some quality time with kids.
