I actually recommend using a registry website (we used MyRegistry) because then you can add items from different stores (Target, Amazon, Bed, Bath, & Beyond, etc.) but they are in one spot. They also did the thing that a lot of them do and gave a discount for any remaining items you purchased after the baby was born. Old Navy also has great baby clothes (but you probably won't have to actually register for clothes).

I used target and I thought they had almost everything I needed! I also think using amazon is a good idea because people from all over can send you stuff directly to your address. Like if you have a lot of family or friends from out of town.

I think it really depends on who you will have at your shower.  If you have a lot of older guests they may not be as computer savvy and those are usually the ladies who take showers and gifts more seriously - they will be looking for a store to go to!  We registered at Buy Buy Baby and that worked really well for us.  I actually liked having a store I could go to as well, although I did much more online than in person.

Target was our go-to. They have all the "needs" and so much other cute stuff.

Nikki posted this 31 July 2019

We loved buy buy baby. They have EVERYTHING and their registry process is really easy.

I used target! I also think Walmart is a good option since almost everyone has access to a Walmart! I tried to choose a place I knew everyone would be able to shop at. The registry websites are good too because you can combine different stores! With target you get a 20% off coupon for everything left on your registry.

Target and Buy Buy baby were where I registered. Easy return policies.

Sonja posted this 28 August 2019

Target, buy buy baby those are the best!

Fina posted this 28 August 2019

We used amazon and Buy Buy Baby. Buy Buy baby is best because they have amazing coupons!

I would def say Amazon and Target, i know Amazon is huge right now. I would also include Pottery Barn kids, even if just for bedding etc

Madison posted this 29 August 2019

buy buy baby and target!

Sarah posted this 29 August 2019

used to be babies r us, but buy buy baby is good too. i like that you can actually push around a stroller & see everything set up in full size. unlike target where everything is bolted down and the cribs are like 1/4 of an actual crib? weird.

I used myregistry too! It was awesome because I could easily manage items, and we didn't get duplicates, and it was so nice to just send everyone to one place. the only bummer was for those who weren't very tech savvy or don't like shopping online (grandparents & family friends).

Besides Amazon we used Target just for guests who may not like to online shop.

Definitely Target and Buy Buy Baby. I also used a registry app called Babylist. They let you add things from any online website possible (Etsy, Nordstrom, Baby Gap, etc.)

Caroline posted this 30 August 2019

We did Target (because we love Target!) and you are also able to register for items from other websites and it will display a link on your Target registry. I thought that was a nice feature and you also get a discount on the remaining items on your registry after your baby is born.

I personally love Target's baby registry, especially since you get a free gift bag with baby items and coupons. Plus, you get some coupons to use on your baby registry. If you combine those coupons with a sale you can get some awesome deals!

I used the Pregistry website which has great deals with Amazon: https://www.pregistry.com/Home/BirthRegistry.

I suggest Amazon, since they use to send you a box of stuff if you signed up for your registry with them.  Or Target, because who doesn't love Target!

If you live anywhere close to a Burlington Coat Factory, register there! The babydepot is THE BEST!

Gloria posted this 18 September 2019

I registered on myregistry.com. The great thing is you can out stuff on there from all different stores. Then the best part is you can sync registries from other stores. So i registered with Target because you get an amazing welcome bag from them and synced it with registry.com. Then i went on amazon, buybuybaby and pottery barn and i could pick certain things from everywhere and it was just logged on one site. Made life so much easier.

Annie posted this 18 September 2019

I did Amazon and BuyBuy Baby.  But I think Target is a great option too.

Corrine posted this 18 September 2019

Use babylist! It will link all the stores together and give people the best prices.

I love Amazon because of the convenience for everyone. They literally never have to touch the present and its shipped directly to you

Norah posted this 27 September 2019

Amazon and Target were the best stores a couple years ago. Things can change quickly in this industry so check with your friends who have younger babies.

Target was my go-to! It was easy for returns and everyone knows where a Target is!

Target just because returns are so easy!!

Wendy posted this 20 October 2019

I also used MyRegistry! It made it sooo much simpler. Most of our items were from Target and Amazon.

Beth posted this 20 October 2019

We're not pregnant yet (trying), but my best friend registered through Amazon and loved it! She got a little gift box too after she set up her registry and bought something off it.

Sadie posted this 23 October 2019

I suggest signing up for a few because different ones have different rewards. Amazon, Target, Buy Buy Baby. And Buy Buy Baby will send you random 20& off coupons in the mail so that's always nice for a big purchase!

Danielle posted this 29 October 2019

Baby List- because it registers you for so many stores. Amazon too as well, especially if you are like me a military spouse makes it cheap and affordable for people to buy you gifts

Cassandra posted this 01 November 2019

My favorite place to register was Amazon.  You have access to literally every product imaginable, and most people have Amazon Prime so they don't have to pay for shipping.  It keeps track of who buys what for you and gives you their address too.  Its a win-win-win-win-win

Liv posted this 02 November 2019

myregistry.com is grate! you can add different stores tiems to your lists

Carolina posted this 03 November 2019

I've heard good things about Babylist. We chose to do Target, mostly because I love Target, but also because I felt like I had a lot of options there especially if I had to return something. Plus, they give you a coupon to get a discount on anything that is left on your registry after the shower.

Kelly posted this 01 December 2019

I highly suggest Target or Amazon!  Amazon use to send you a gift if you did your baby registry with them.  I'm not sure if they still do that.

tonya posted this 08 December 2019

i registered at everyone i know people could afford amazon and target give you a free box/bag of goodies and idk about walmart but if people you know can afford buybuybaby sign up there have a lot of options

tonya posted this 08 December 2019

target walmart buy buy baby and amazon , babies r us decided close right when i got pregnant with my first i hope they open again !!

Sarah posted this 09 December 2019

I would suggest Target! Because if you have to return something, you know you can find 100 other things to get!

Kelly posted this 11 December 2019

I love Babylist because you can then add their widget to your bookmarks and add item from most website to your register with them. They also have suggested items that really help you build the list you dream of.

Sloan posted this 17 February 2020

I did babylist too!! Great option because you can add items from virtually anywhere! I also recommend an instore registry for people who don't do online shopping-buy buy baby is great for a classic baby store. Target is nice too but I found buy buy baby had a larger selection!

Kathryn posted this 17 February 2020

I love Target, but honestly Amazon is my go to. I can get anything from baby gear to diapers in one order within 2 days. But I know people love Babylist. I've never used it but have only heard positive things!

Stacie posted this 18 February 2020

I loved Pottery Barn. I had a lot of friends and family want to gift me with something special and my baby's bedding was high quality and beautiful!

Annie posted this 18 February 2020

I am thinking I'll hit Target when the time comes. I like shopping their for my friend's baby showers, because I can touch everything and make sure I'm getting what I think I'm getting.

Ali posted this 29 March 2020

Amazon is good, but Target and BuyBuyBaby have some good selections of certain items!

Keesha posted this 31 March 2020

BabyList!!!! It's awesome. You can add items from any store and the app is super easy to use.

Alaina posted this 01 April 2020

I loved target, but Amazon was the best! You could see who bought what, when they bought it. It helped me to not buy things that people had already bought.
