Please re-read the original post. I did not become vegan during pregnancy as is clear in this statement: "I was not vegan with my first pregnancy, but became vegan shortly thereafter." Also, what facts do you have to prove that a plant-based diet is not as healthy, that veganism is selfish, and that the nutrients (which nutrients are you referring to exactly) are not the same? The purpose of this post was to obtain firsthand advice about continuing a plant-based diet while pregnant. If firsthand advice was not pertinent then I welcomed various resources, none of which you provided. FYI, this is for future reference as I am not currently pregnant.
Oh I am just in shock that women do this when pregnant. It is NOT the same and not as healthy. You absolutely do not get the same nutrients. THIS PREGNANCY IS NOT ABOUT YOU WANTING TO BE VEGAN - You HAVE TO put aside any selfish behavior and realize YOUR BABY NEEDS YOU. It's really shocking that this is even a thing.
