My nephews come to visit me at least once a week.  They love to paint! It can get a little messy, so I put painter's plastic down and let them have at it. They like making stuff with their hand and footprints.  The paints now are truly washable, they really do come out.

Stickers are a huge hit at my house. And mail, he loves mail.   Super funny.  Sometimes I put stickers in a bunch of envelopes and write his name on them.  He loves it, keeps him occupied for a while.

If you have an instagram, you need to follow @dayswithgrey and @busytoddler!! They have such awesome toddler activity ideas! super simple concepts that totally keep the kids busy. For Christmas time, for example, they had you draw a Christmas tree and but lines on it to represent the string of the Christmas lights, and then using a dot paint pen, put different colored dots along those lines you made. Once you've set that up, give the kids colored dot stickers, and have them match the correct color sticker to the colored dot on the paper! the kids love it, its great for little finger practice, and keeps them occupied for a while! they both have so many different activities like that.

I like to make music! Give them pots and pans, or instruments, to play music with. It's cute, fun, and although noisy, it will keep them busy. Drawing and Art are good choices too.

I like to cuddle and watch movies, draw and paint, or read books. I love to read to my children.

I have a lot of toys for my LO, 13 months, and I play with those with her. She has the blocks of different colors and shapes. When we are not putting them in the cube with the cut outs then I am telling her the color and shape. We have stacking cups, a toy piano, different color and textured balls, animal toys, a ball pen, tunnels, and all kinds of toys to play with! We also have walking toys for her to push. I also have iPad games to play with her. We love reading too. If I am looking for new ideas Pinterest is super helpful!
