Has anyone dealt with thrush? Both my baby and my boobs have it and it is SO painful. Anything work to get rid of this? Thank you!

You and baby both need to see the pediatrician to get anti-fungal medications ASAP!

I agree with Moona, you and baby both need to get checked out and get some medications before it turns into something even more serious! Best of luck

Oral diflucan helped to clear up the yeast. I noticed that I was still having pain during nursing which I attributed to the yeast returning but after seeing a LC she informed me that my baby's latch had changed due to discomfort from the thrush and that I should try to alter my nursing positions-this advice was a lifesaver!

It is a vicious cycle. Get medicine from your pediatrician. I also took a pro-biotic to help my body fight off spreading to my breasts. It seemed to help!

Thrush is the worst! I had to get on medication from my doctor because my baby and I kept passing it back and forth.

You need an antifungal prescription for you and baby. Also the pro-biotics may help prevent it. Even try yogurt with active ingredients.
