I'm 9 weeks + 5 days with baby #2, and I swear I'm already getting a little bump starting! Ah! I was hoping to keep baby a surprise until a holiday to announce, but I'm worried about how long I'll be able to hide it. I've always heard you pop earlier with baby #2 but jeez!!! How long were you able to hide a bump with baby #2? Or even #1 if you showed early?!
Tell Me I'm Not the Only One Unable to Hide Their Bump So Early On!

My students guessed I was pregnant at six weeks with my third baby....I was like uhhhhhh....so I told them all yes lol!
I started showing at 10 weeks. I was told it was just "bloat" but my pants wouldn't button- there wasnt any weight gain I was just becoming round, which I thought was crazy early
With baby number 3 it was hard we live near my mother in law and we waited until I was 5 months. Lol I wore my husbands tops literally all summer. I honestly think my mother in law knew she was just waiting.
My body said “oh this again” and it was like everyone knew and scrutinized my belly even more.
As soon as I took the test I felt like my pants were too tight! Thankfully I tend to wear loose fitting clothing so that hid it well.
My bump started showing around 14 weeks. I thought it was early compared to other women I knew! I was incredibly thin before getting pregnant, so I think that was why. My one friend is on her second child and started showing at 15/16 weeks! She was also so surprised. Our bodies are all different.
I felt like I looked pregnant as soon as I found out!
I feel like I look like I’m about 5 months and I’m only 8 weeks
🤦🏻♀️
So I'd start of the day and get dressed with a flatish stomach during my first trimester. After one meal and some laughter with friends it was like my belly would slightly expand like a balloon. This made hiding it so difficult. This was during second pregnancy...
Girl this is baby number 2 for me and I was showing by 12 weeks. I meant here was no hiding that bump! haha
baby number 1 was alot different- I didnt really start showing until about week 18.
But I can definitely tell I am carrying them differently as well
I was able to keep it under wraps until 20 weeks thanks to oversized sweaters and wearing tank tops under my clothes. They sort of smoothed my belly and compressed my breasts.
Sundresses and flowy tops are fabulous for keeping things private. I avoided the "under the boob" cut that seemed to scream "hi I'm hiding pregnancy!" and stuck to all-over flowing material.
Oh Gosh. I feel like I show sooner and sooner each time! If you're looking to hide, baggy clothes are a must. Sundresses should be your best friend now that spring is here! Lol!
Yes! I popped at 12 weeks, and it was obvious as could be. I invested in a lot of sweaters to keep it quiet! With baby number one, I didn't show until 18ish weeks, so this one was bizarre!
