Best places to take newborns and infants for social interaction and meet other moms? Something free!

This post came up on my end, and even though I don't live near you, I can say that any public library has storytime programs for kids that young. A great way to meet other parents, get out of the house, and have your child look at other kids. Every little bit counts.

Parenting class! Im a young mother so I learned a lot there and I got to meet a lot of cool moms.

Does your local city parks and recreation have programs? Ours does, some are free and some cost very little. Also going to a splash pad and indoor playground at the mall are good places to meet other parents.

There's a lot of Facebook groups out there for local areas, that are centered around Stay at Home Moms. I've also met other parents from parent friends of mine and we have a once a month "moms night out" dinner where we invite new people too
