We stayed intimate through out our whole pregnancy. It was difficult to find comfortable positions but I know there is a lot of info out there these days online that can probably help with that.

Did anyone find before they were pregnant that they held on to misconceptions about sex during pregnancy?  I mean did you or partner assume it wasn't going to be a struggle to keep that part of the relationship going?

I wasn't really in the mood all that often. My husband was pretty weirded out by it at the end, but at that point I wanted to do it to induce labor! πŸ˜‚

We do, but it is uncomfortable and kind of scary lol I know doctors say it will not harm the baby, though. Still always in the back of my mind

Ha ya  your doctor sounds amazing  πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Your doctor is HILARIOUS! πŸ˜… πŸ˜…

ALLL the time πŸ˜‚ Mine did ask if he was going to hit the baby at one of my doctor's appointments and my doctor told him not to flatter himself πŸ˜‚

Every father is scared of this at first!  Just show him information and let him know it is very safe!

Yes we still did it! I seriously could not get enough sex when I was pregnant. It was my favorite past time. πŸ˜‚ I think you just have to be creative and make it work. I think it was really fun and we kind of bonded.

LOL My hubby would totally love this topic. He loves me pregnant and he couldn't keep his hands off of me during my pregnancies. I had bleeding with two of my pregnancies so we did have to be careful for the first few months but after that we resumed sex as normal. Nothing wrong with it and it keeps it interesting I suppose πŸ˜‰

Melissa posted this 18 February 2019

YES! It's needed, and I read somewhere it helps the husband bond with the baby. I'm not sure if that's true or not. You just have to get creative with positioning once you get big but other than that go for it girl!

Having sex while pregnant may not be safe for ladies with a history of repeated miscarriages, preterm labor, bleeding, or an incompetent cervix. But pretty safe for the baby and mom when any of these risks aren't involved

Omg! This was so awkward at first but it became a must as I progressed through my pregnancy. My hormones were constantly ragging.

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I wouldn’t of been able to stop laughing. That’s hilarious.

This is great πŸ˜‚

its a man thing! mine was "scared" to but I talked him into it or he just could hold out any longer! lol. Pregnancy makes us look too good to keep their hands off!

Don't know about that but yes! Of course we did too. He had to get it
