Did you retake the test after negative result?

I like to get the more expensive digital read tests which seem to be most accurate! Good luck!

I used the first response pregnancy tests, I found that those were all around the best. I tried the clear blue but I wasn’t crazy about the digital reading and how accurate it really was.

It's funny how those things work. When I took a test, we bought the most expensive one to the cheapest one...I think we bought like 10...I wanted to BE SURE! All of them were positive...

I hope you have better luck with the next one...have you found out for sure yet?

Hi Monica! I used the First Response test and had good results. I will say that often the drug store tests can produce false positives. How many days have you missed your period? If you get a second positive I would definitely contact your doctor to be sure. Good luck and I hope everything turns out the way you want!

Megan, I think we did the same thing! Bought every single test on the aisle just to make sure they all said the same thing. Mine were all positive within seconds. LOL!

For my first child, I just went straight to the clinic due to not having my period for a while.  I am preggo again, so for this baby I took 5 tests total, 2 were from the dollar sore and to make sure I went and bought  3 more expensive brand names ones.  I think they were First Response, accuclear and clearblue.  The funny thing ALL 5 came out positive.

It is very unlikely that you will have a false POSITIVE but false negatives can happen easily. Depending on the test and sometimes they are just faulty. But seriously rarely is it positive by mistake. When/ IF you go to the doctor they will use a dip test first like what you used at home. If it's unclear then they will draw your blood. Positive is positive. Negative is maybe!

I was the same way. It could be very disappointing. We are trying again, and really hoping for the best.

I would double check with a doctor. You can always get a false negative, but never a false positive.

I used First Response and it always worked great.  I agree that it is unlikely to get a false positive.  I would definitely consult your doctor.

I kind of already knew I was pregnant. Idk it was just a "mommy" instinct. I think you know when you know but I used first response & I bought 3 packs lol

Honestly, I think it's definitely worth it to follow up with a dr.  But I used a cheapo test with lines and then backed it up with a good digital once I got the first positive. (Those lines make it so hard to be sure!)

I'd head to your doctor if I got even one positive result.

I would definitely just go to the doctor and get a urine or blood test done there. It’s very hard to say with at home tests sometimes!

Morgan posted this 22 October 2018

I agree with Jeanetta. It's better for your peace of mind at this point.

I know alot of ladies that have struggled with home pregnancy tests, I would highly recommend just heading to the drs!

A blood test would be a good next step! I know urine tests can be quite inaccurate sometimes!
