I'm not sure if they have it every where but where I live in Northern California I just discovered this place and they have bargains on EVERYTHING! It's a gently used store but all their clothes I saw practically brand new. They had a deal going when I went in 50% already cheap clothes if you had a reusable bag. So all the clothes I bought ranged from $2-$10 and the half off of that. I bought so much clothes for baby that would have cost me hundreds! Once Upon a Child best place ever!

Yes!!! I spent a small fortune on all new clothes for my first baby BUT now I'm expecting my third child and I buy the majority of my kids' gear from consignment shops. It doesn't pay to invest too much in brand new clothes or name brands when they will 100% get stains within minutes of wearing it. Plus, they outgrow sizes sometimes overnight in the first couple of years! 😂

I love Once Upon a Child.  I have bought so much there for cheap and a lot of it is new or lightly used.

We don't have that store here but there are several consignment sales that take place in our area.  The biggest is Rhea Lana's and it is great to snag up clothes or baby gear.  My sister takes her daughters clothes to it to sell and makes a lot of money each time!! They have one coming up here in a few weeks and I plan to go and look for a swing.  They only allow clean and gently used items.

We have a Once Upon a Child where I live but I don't think it's layout is very friendly.  We prefer Kid 2 Kid if you have one of those in your areas.  They also offer coupons and rewards, not sure about Once Upon a Child.

Jen posted this 25 October 2018

I love once upon a child. Such a great store for all your baby clothes. I won't ever spend so much on baby clothes now that I found this store. All their clothes are so cute and like brand new!

Mary posted this 26 October 2018

I just checked and there is only one in California And not very close to me.

We do not have Once Upon a Child near us, but my sister in law loves it!

samantha posted this 28 October 2018

I shop there all the time when I visit California.

I love those places! I love outlets too! Burlington Coat Factory is the best!

lynne posted this 02 November 2018

It's where we buy most of our clothes. The grocery stores around us also have coupons on that back of receipts ($5 off $30) and I can get an entire season for that! Wait until they have a great sale and sell some of your stuff back and it's no money out of your pocket!

Makayla posted this 18 November 2018

I would recommend Marshall's, they have a great selection of baby clothes and they are super cheap!!

Megan posted this 19 November 2018

We have something similar here, and if you want to sell you always have to agree to volunteer work there setting up or running registers etc. It's no admission and tons of baby stuff. I really enjoy it. I also have good deals from the local goodwills.

The Children's Place is awesome when it comes to clothes.  The always have sales and every time you buy something, you earn points towards a coupon off your next purchase.  I have twins and this is when I get my kids clothes.  I also shop online and use Ebates to get money back on my purchases.  Makes the deal even sweeter!  :-)

Love once upon a child.  But it can be tricky picking sizes because some clothes have been shrunk and others haven't.  I always buy a size up, just in case.   Sometimes I can get clothes just as cheap online, but they are great for larger items like diaper bags and bathtubs.

Missy posted this 18 December 2018

I wish I liked the one near me! It was gross stuff. I would totally buy gently used but not stuff that looks horrible.

Kayla posted this 18 December 2018

They have one in Jacksonville, Fl. I love this place because you can get name brand cheap.

I just discovered Once Upon a Child & love it. The one close to me is very active on social media so I know when they have deals and their inventory is always great

Michelle posted this 19 December 2018

There are alot of gently used kids clothing shops online. Google search them.

Shawna posted this 20 December 2018

I love this place, went there today to get some Christmas items. So clean and made a little cash off my trade ins.

Meagan posted this 20 December 2018

We have a Once Upon a Child but I'm not a fan. I am obsessed with Children's Place tho! They ALWAYS seem to be having amazing deals, so I just stock up when they do!

Ashley posted this 24 December 2018

I like Kids R Us.  I have not looked into Once Upon A Child and will be doing that.

chrissy posted this 24 December 2018

I got some super cute winter jackets at Once upon a Child, jackets can get really expensive so it's great for seasonal stuff, especially if you buy it out of season.  Our local fairgrounds does a huge garage sale type thing for kids stuff once a year, so that's a good option too, if there is something like that near you. .

Sarah posted this 24 December 2018

I just sold a bunch of stuff to them. I love it and have found some really great baby outfits. Its crazy how fast they grow out of their clothes

Ashley posted this 07 February 2019

That’s awesome ! Unfortunately , the closest one to me is 30 miles away. On the bright side thou, I love Burlington. Any other stores you recommend?

Laura posted this 07 February 2019

This place is great! Thanks for the tip, I never knew about it before.

Carly posted this 01 June 2019

They have them in the the states I've been in recently (FL, CO, TX, GA) and I love that place beyond belief. It's great for presents too. They are really gaining popularity. If you go to the stores in more ritzy areas you can get some stuff that's like brand new that was REALLY EXPENSIVE and it is just at the most amazing prices.

Melody posted this 01 June 2019

Been buying AND selling to this place for a couple years now and it's one of the best decisions I've made. Seriously don't forget they BUY YOUR STUFF!

Robin posted this 03 June 2019

We have it! I got some good deals on active wear and ballet stuff. BUT when I went to sell stuff there there was such an abundance they didnt take any of the stuff I was selling, even stuff that had the tags still on it!

Star posted this 06 July 2019

Agreed! Once Upon A Child is great for clothes. Other baby items you can sometimes find for cheaper elsewhere but you can sign up for text alerts for deals.

Brittany posted this 09 July 2019

Yesssss! And they are really particular about the clothes they take in. You can also sell old baby clothes and buy new ones!!!!

Jane posted this 16 July 2019

I have not checked there yet, thank you!

Susan posted this 20 July 2019

We don't have one of those here, I think, but I will definitely keep a look out and pass on the good word

Rachele posted this 27 August 2019

I have never heard of this! I wish they had it in Texas.

gerry posted this 28 August 2019

Misha posted this 31 August 2019

I'm not sure if there is one near me. I'll have to check that out! I shop at Ross because it is literally down the street from me. I just go browse through their racks when I have a chance. I've scored some pretty cool stuff for great prices.

barbara posted this 12 September 2019

i need this store near me in Maryland!!!! it sounds awesome. good deals can be hard to find

cara posted this 12 September 2019

I've never heard of such a place but it sounds wonderful! There isn't anything like that in my state. Most of what I get I find on local swap shops.

Kaile'a posted this 12 September 2019

Awesome!!! I will have to check out my local store

Susan posted this 14 November 2019

This sounds great!  Do they have an online store by any chance?  I don't think I have one in my area unfortunately.

Carrie posted this 21 November 2019

yesss, we have them in Florida, as well. So awesome!

Norah posted this 22 November 2019

I love gently used clothes. I get really quality stuff that is in excellent condition and is often top brands... polo, chaps, patagonia etc.

I honestly believe the zip code of your thrift store determines a lot (sometimes) I love a good bargain as a mom of 3 kids.

Lily posted this 12 March 2020

Not only are they great. They BUY CLOTHES FROM YOU.

Regina posted this 26 March 2020

We have a great place here in the south called Uptown Cheapskate. They buy clothes from you for all ages and sell nicer brands!

Emily posted this 27 March 2020

In Texas there is a place called Dirt Cheap and they have great deals on everything! However, a great place for discounted baby items is TJ Maxx and Marshalls. They often sell last seasons items for half off simply because they aren't the current prints or newest design.
