So we've decided to make the baby's gender a surprise.  But now I'm not sure how to prepare!  Ideas for gender neutral nursery?

Animals and nature type themes can apply easily to any baby and can utilize a lot of colors that way. How fun! Surprise gender births are getting rarer with all the awesome new ultrasounds you can do.

I've seen some very modern, lovely nurseries done in decor similar to the rest of the house and no over the top cutesy baby items or gender items. For example grey walls with a white or black furniture setup, a rocker, small table and lamp, family photos or quotes on the walls. Then as their personality develops you can personalize it more!

Disney! Not any one movie or character in particular just Disney in general. Quotes from Walt, different movie quotes from different movies, one of the castles on the wall, fireworks, neutral colors on the linens and furniture.

We did everything grey and white then added color after the baby was born. Super easy and grey and white go with everything.

Mickey Mouse/ Minnie Mouse is a good theme because you can add all characters and colors, if you don't want the room to be too "neutral."

That is what I am planning to do to! Target has really cute grey cribs that are pretty affordable.

Zoo is a nice one, besides you can use gender neutral furniture like gray, black or white...

We knew what we were having but we chose neutral bedding and items that we can reuse in the future. To make it special we chose a specific animal (sloths!!) and decided each baby in the future would get a different animal for their theme!
