How do you experienced moms (and even new moms) find time for yourselfs. Do you go out or do you simply stay at home and let your man take care if the kids for a little bit?

My husband comes home for lunch every day and helps put the kiddos down for a nap, I use this as "me time". I also have a very supportive extended family that loves watching the kids any chance they get, so this allows me to get out of the house and really have some alone time. I know alone time is important, but remember your little ones don't stay little long and soon they will be out the door and all you will be wanting is time alone time WITH them.

I would let my husband or my mom take care of the kids.  I don't do it a lot, and I probably should do it more than what I do, but I always feel better afterwards.  I am usually the mom that takes her kids everywhere though. Sometimes it wears on me, other times, it is just what I am used to.

Once in awhile I need to recharge my battery by simply staying home alone.  If I can get everyone out of the house so I can binge watch something and clean the house alone... I'm much, much happier.  I love kicking them out for the day or half a day.

My latest me time has been watching shows on Hulu. It has been taking the place of my journaling and crocheting but right now I'm just too worn out to do much of anything else.

I get the most "me time" when my daughter is napping.

Like many other moms said the most me time I usually get it a shower! I do get some time to myself late at night after baby has gone to sleep!

I love looking for funny YouTube videos or interesting stuff on reddit. It's so good to laugh especially when life seems so exhausting.

Me time usually involves Netflix and a nice meal or snack. I need to recharge at least a couple times a wee. Don't neglect yourselves Mommas!

Wine and chill time sounds really good!

I'm a single mom - there's very little me time but I don't regret a thing. Me time now is after my daughter goes to bed I'll have a glass of wine and chill on the couch!

I had to start prioritizing personal time, at least a couple times a month, just to stay sane and to feel connected with friends. It's a little easier for men to carve out or insist on personal time. Once you find a way to set those boundaries or prioritize a little bit of self care it helps your relationship and overall sense of well being.

I don't get a lot of me time either, even in the restroom haha! If I do want "me time", though, I usually try to find a good book and I let hubby know. We've been married for awhile so he knows that it means "do not disturb"!

I rarely get 'me' time. Sometimes I can get all of the kids to bed by a certain time, and I'll watch tv or read for 30 minutes before I go to bed. My husband told me to just wake up earlier before the kids do, and I laughed at him.

Me time is anytime I can get away long enough to get my nails done or a moment long enough to finish a pint of ice cream (which isnt very long lol)

Sarah posted this 13 September 2019

One of my "me times" is getting my nails done, it is something I know I will be doing every two weeks!

I try to find a solid balance, but now that I'm back to work, it's hard! I always considered my me-time to be when I would take the napping baby in the car and I'd go for a nice long drive with a podcast and coffee each maternity morning!

I definitely have found that i have to leave the house to really get "me time" i have even just gotten in my car and driven to a random parking lot and watched netflix on my phone for a little bit. It helps me to "check out" of mommy brain for a little bit and i can go back home refreshed!! yeah right, refreshed is a big word how about a little more able to handle my crazy kids!!

I ask my husband for some time.  And then I lay out by the pool alone or take a bath uninterrupted.

I run errands without the kids.  It feels great to turn the music up in the car, windows down, and walk around stores with no one needing me.
