How do you experienced moms (and even new moms) find time for yourselfs. Do you go out or do you simply stay at home and let your man take care if the kids for a little bit?

Sometimes just taking an uninterrupted shower is what I consider "me time".

Other times I need to get out of the house and just clear my head of the to do list around my house.
Either way! How about you?

Sometimes the best way for me to really get "me" time is to leave the house. Otherwise, I'm still exposed to the kids fighting or not listening, etc. Browsing Target for an hour alone with a Starbucks in hand is a rare treat.

Yes to an uninterrupted shower, or even just getting some household chores or errands done.  In between dinner and bath time my husband often takes the kids for a walk so that I can take a shower or do whatever I need to.

Yes, my husband takes the kids so I can run errands or take a shower alone! And I do an occasional girls night out to give me an excuse to do my hair and dress nice

My baby is 8 weeks old and I haven’t had much me time. Like the other moms said a shower is about the most me time I get! I don’t mind though. I am loving every minute of being with my baby.

Yep, hubby will take our toddler to Target for an "outing" leaving me at home with some peace and quiet! Or sometimes if he's kinda beat, they'll watch a movie together and I can go across to our clubhouse (we live in an apartment) and do some of my freelance work or blog writing or simply Pinterest scrolling

But yes, in those early days, have a friend/family member come over to hold your baby - taking a shower alone without worrying whether the baby will wake up is quite the luxury!!

My husband or the grandparents will take my toddler for a while - I like to read some if I can, but even going grocery shopping alone seems luxurious at times! I also like to take a walk and just revel in the quiet 😅

I try to take a bubble bath with a book as often as I can-usually after dinner, my husband will clean up dinner & watch the babe!

The only “me” time I ever get is when they are all in bed lol. There is one day every two weeks where I get my nails done. But other than that I rarely if ever have free time.

My "me time" is during naps or bedtime.  I read book, take a bath, or watch Netflix while cuddling my husband.  If my parents are in town, I'm lucky to get a date-night.

I know right! How do moms get their "me time"?? I schedule mine and never seem to find time to actually do it. Sometimes in the middle of the night I get an hour to myself where I do something I've been wanting to do (sadly it's Netflix half the time lol). When my mom is in town she watches the baby while I go out for a couple hours and just relax.

I run errands without the kids.  It feels great to turn the music up in the car, windows down, and walk around stores with no one needing me.

I ask my husband for some time.  And then I lay out by the pool alone or take a bath uninterrupted.

I definitely have found that i have to leave the house to really get "me time" i have even just gotten in my car and driven to a random parking lot and watched netflix on my phone for a little bit. It helps me to "check out" of mommy brain for a little bit and i can go back home refreshed!! yeah right, refreshed is a big word how about a little more able to handle my crazy kids!!

I try to find a solid balance, but now that I'm back to work, it's hard! I always considered my me-time to be when I would take the napping baby in the car and I'd go for a nice long drive with a podcast and coffee each maternity morning!

One of my "me times" is getting my nails done, it is something I know I will be doing every two weeks!

Me time is anytime I can get away long enough to get my nails done or a moment long enough to finish a pint of ice cream (which isnt very long lol)

I go for a run, it's my release!

Elizabeth posted this 14 September 2019

I rarely get 'me' time. Sometimes I can get all of the kids to bed by a certain time, and I'll watch tv or read for 30 minutes before I go to bed. My husband told me to just wake up earlier before the kids do, and I laughed at him.

I don't get a lot of me time either, even in the restroom haha! If I do want "me time", though, I usually try to find a good book and I let hubby know. We've been married for awhile so he knows that it means "do not disturb"!
