Is it safe to do while nursing? Don't you need carbs when you're breastfeeding?

The keto diet is amazing at helping lose the weight quick!

If your breastfeeding I would just make sure your eating healthy, without caloric restriction, and being active. Walk with the baby, do some yoga when babies asleep. The weight comes over pretty naturally when you’re nursing.

Eat healthy

As someone described above the most efficient way to lose weight is to watch what you eat and exercise so you are at a calorie deficit. I use the app myfitnesspal to track what I eat and how much I exercise. I really like logging it and being able to keep track of my progress.

Breastfeeding and eating healthy and smart. Workout when you’re cleared to, and keep active!

Drink green tea 🍵. Walk, and don’t eat pasta, rice, bread. This helped me allot.

Drinking water helps, also try cutting down your portions.

Breastfeeding is a good start, but follow it up with a good proper diet and exercise. I personally like low-carb ... lots of vegetables!

Doing pilates or dance fitness on youtube! I love dance fitness with Jessica. She has some great workout dances to make it fun, but also to not overwork yourself.

Green tea is a great weight loss aid for me. Hopefully that will carry over to after I have my baby. I absolutely plan on breast feeding to help me out as well.

Breastfeeding helped me a lot! Once my daughter started sleeping through the night around 6 months, I started going back to the gym after work. I was already used to the sleep deprivation so getting up early to go to the gym wasn't that hard

A combination of breastfeeding, eating more veggies, and working out 3-4 times a week. Make sure your heart is pumping for a solid 25 minutes during the workout! If you can lift weights, even better. Weight lifting is super efficient because it builds muscle, which burns fat even when you aren't working out. It's better than straight cardio.

Losing weight isn't about a fad diet, tea, or waist trainers. To lose weight you need to be in a caloric deficit and maintain that deficit to continue losing weight. This is done by eating healthy and exercising even if you are only walking. What I have done to lose weight and keep it off is a healthy diet of 5-6 small meals a day and going on a 30min walks. Breastfeeding does help some women lose weight but I unfortunately gained weight from breastfeeding because my appetite was even larger after having the baby. Just consult with your doctor about when it would be healthy for you start considering moderate activity after you have your baby.

In my case, breastfeeding did help me lose the weight. But it is important to remember that you didn't gain it all at once, so it will take time for you to lose it also!

A lot of times, if you’re breastfeeding, the weight comes off naturally. Just focus on eating healthfully and exercising/getting 10,000 steps a day or 30 minutes of brisk activity.

There are a lot of great videos on YouTube about the topic and here are some of the things I've noted down to try once I've given birth:

- breastfeeding/pumping

- daily walk for at least 30-45 minutes

- protein-based diet with fewer carbs

- 64 ounces of water - daily

- band system (a 3-band system that tightens the belly area)

- weight-training from the 3rd month on

I have heard using teami blends is a really good way to start losing weight after giving birth and is safe to drink while breastfeeding.
