Has anyone experienced this during their pregnancy? If so, is it permanent?

This hasn't happened to me, but a friend of mine who is an avid coffee drinker actually knew she was pregnant each time because she couldn't even stomach the smell of coffee ha ha.. Apparently it didn't let up each time until she was close to delivering.

Yess!!!!!!!!!!! I love tuna and could not open a can. Also I love potatoes in soups and meat and potatoes and I couldn't smell potatoes that I had to throw up. It went away after I gave birth though.

During my first pregnancy, I couldn't stand the smell of Subway. To this day (several years later), the smell of walking into one makes me sick.

I couldn't smell broccoli , I love broccoli but during both of my pregnancies it was like yuck!!!

Yes! I've hated the smell of sugar/sweet things all 3 pregnancies. The smell of chocolate or cake makes me nauseous. I have to avoid the bakery section at all costs. I normally love sweets!  ðŸ˜ 😭 😭

I am a barbeque lover normally but the smell of it makes me gag like no other. I hope it's not permanent! It was a rough summer.

I'm normally a coffee fiend but the smell makes me gag during pregnancy. It goes away after delivery for me at least. I usually stop at Starbucks on the way home from the hospital ðŸ˜‚ 😂

Oh yeah. I normally love breakfast foods like eggs or pancakes. The whole lot of it is disgusting to me right now.

Thanks for sharing. I'm hoping this is only temporary!

Yes! I take CBD shots to combat the nausea and give me more of an appetite.

I had a hard time eating during my first and second pregnancies. I had severe nausea and had a heck of a time keeping weight on. With my third I was better but suddenly hated ketchup of all things. Now with #4 I hate ketchup again!

Eggs. Couldn't stand the taste or the smell... ðŸ˜·

YES! YES! YES! I had so much food aversions literally any time of meat I hated. I didn't like hot food or sauces and love it before I was pregnant. I have a 1 and a half year old and still have aversions to hot sauces lol.

I felt sick every time I drank  protein shakes. Hoping this won't last long. I however do crave like fresh fruit juice all the time

I didn’t gain too much weight during my pregnancy because I didn’t have appetite and it lasted the entire pregnancy, I didn’t feel like eating anything. After I gave birth and started breastfeeding I wanted to eat it all

I have heard a lot about CBD oil being beneficial. But is it safe during pregnancy? Are there any studies on it out there?? My pharmacist actually advised against me taking melatonin for sleep. I'd just check with your ob/gyn to be sure.

Believe it or not, ladies, I cannot stand chicken this time around!! The baby just refuses to let me enjoy what is normally one of my favorite foods!!!! The smell is repulsive to me and I want to gag if I even try a bite.

Maybe the baby will be vegan! 😂 😂 😂
