Everywhere I turn people are fawning over their Instant Pots. Are they really worth it? Pressure cooking seems intimidating.

Yes, yes, a million times yes. The instant pot is one of the best purchases we have ever made. It seems intimidating at first, but it is pretty simple and so quick. It makes dinner so much easier for us.

Yes!!! Some days I don't know what I would do without it. Handy for so many things, especially with a huge family, we have two.

My sister has one, its pretty cool. Makes meals really fast. But yes, I agree, intimidating! When its steaming to let pressure out you have to be really patient before opening. I haven't gotten one yet for myself.

Yes.  I love coming home and just throwing something in there.  It is so convenient!!!  It has made my time in the kitchen much less, maybe half.  I am so glad because being prego, I am dead tired at the end of the day... actually I am dead tired all day! LOL

I hear about them all the time too!  But I don't have one yet.  Sounds like it might be worth me asking Santa for one 😁

Soooooo useful. I love it for the hectic days when you don't have time to focus on cooking.

Yes!! Its sooo helpful especially when I forget to take food out I can throw frozen chicken in it.

I am so glad you posted this question I have been wondering the same thing. These answers are so helpful.

I need to try it more. I think I'm intimidated by it. I have one but I haven't used it enough to say its worth it. Reading all these comments I think I'll give it another try.

Yes!!! I swear by my Instant Pot! I cook everything in it and it makes meal prep and cooking at home so easy. I know there are recipes for everything but I guess on a lot of the times when I don't have time to look up the exact cooking time.

Yes, it is awesome! so easy. And I feel like there are enough deals on it that you can get it for a good price. Just an FYI, my friend bought an off brand instapot and didn't like it as much.

I haven't used one but I am actually tired of the crockpot and not everything turns out right.

Dre posted this 13 February 2020

I feel like the crockpot is better when you want something to sit for hours and won't be home.

More fawning: LOVE mine! When you forget to bring down meat from the freezer, you can still cook it in the instant pot - I've done this with chicken and beef and it has always been amazing. Without it I would not have been able to use that meat for dinner! 😍 I got rid of my crock pot! 😂

You can pry my instaPot from my cold, dead fingers. Just follow the recipes by the instructions, and everything will be fine.

Jona posted this 18 February 2020

It's the best thing ever. I can get a real dinner together from frozen in under an hour, and it tastes better than any drive through garbage.

Liz posted this 19 February 2020

I wanna buy one too now after reading all these posts!

I love mine, and they are worth it. Time is the one thing you can't get back with your kids, and anything that helps me spend more time with my little buddy is worth the investment.
