I'd love to hear about all the difference in family sizes & what you think is the hardest part about having that number of kids!

I have 1 right now & I think the hardest part is trying to make sure he isn't too spoiled and trying to time when/if we will have another one!

I always wanted 2, and that's where we ended up. They're further apart in age than I wanted, but fertility doesn't always run on our time schedules. The hardest part is that they are oil and vinegar, so there's a ton of fighting.

3 children max.

i have two now. i like how they have each other to play with etc but i hate the fighting which can be constant and over the dumbest things. now that i am almost past the age that i would feel comfortable having another baby, i can't help but think about having another one. i will say, however, that it seems like 2 is the perfect number for us. i can't imagine having the time to dedicate to a newborn right now so i think we are set!

We (I) want three!!! haha. We have two, going for number three with no luck yet. I grew up with three and so did my husband. It is what we know. I love that when we were younger, I always had a sibling around (one was typically not around) so there was always someone to play with, and talk to! And at two right now... I just don't feel done yet. I think when you know... you know!

We have two right now and are debating between 3 or 4 total! Our first two are almost exactly two years apart and my youngest is about to turn 1 so we are starting to talk about timing for the third!  I feel like it was much easier to decide to go from 1 to two than it is to go from 2 to 3 though.

We always wanted three. Currently, have a just-turned-3 yr old and a 9-month-old. It's a lot of juggling but totally worth it. However, I don't think I could juggle another small one any time soon - and we'd definitely need a bigger house so another may not be in the cards.

Just one for us.  I know a lot of people don't agree with that, but I am ok with just one child.  I want to be able to focus on her and bringing her up right, because it is a really messed up world. I mean to instill humility and kindness so that she is not one of those bratty know it all kids that everyone wants to strangle.

I think 2 is perfect for me.

Perfect way to put it! Everyone has their own opinions about only have 1 kid-my mom shares her thoughts with me ALL the time. But its nice to be able to focus fully on them, attend all their events, etc without having to split your time between multiple kids and possibly missing something big!

My husband and I planned on having 3 children. We just had baby #2 this summer. I have had complications both times so I am on the fence about a third child. I would love to have 3 but I don't know if I want to put my body through it again. We are focusing on our two beautiful girls, paying off debt (including the hospital bills) and then trying to sell our house and move to a bigger home/larger property. If all things work out, and I feel up to it, I may be on board for trying for #3 then. For me, listening to my body and feeling it in my heart will help me to decide.

we have 2 and would love to have 2 more.

2 is my magic number while my husband has a ridiculous number (7). Yeah, he's crazy if he thinks I'm going through pregnancy another 5 more times. I'm so done!

I have my boy and my girl, so we are good with 2 lol.

I would like to have 2 children. Currently have 1 but if the second never happens I am blessed to have my 1 child.

I want to have at least 3 put 4-5 max! After having my first I know that I want many children. I love being a mom!

I definitely want 3 kids. My husband is convinced we need four but I'm not sure about that. I grew up in a family of three siblings so I'm biased. My husband is concerned that the third child is going to be "left out". I'm the youngest of all the siblings though and if anything I just got babied more by my mom and dad lol.

i love that we have two. yes they fight quite a bit but they also play together. I think with one you do probably take more time for playdates etc vs having two, but just my thought

Currently have one, always wanted two. I think whatever God blesses me with. But, how could I ever love another as much as this one?! Kidding, but serious.

Nicole posted this 13 September 2019

Whatever the Lord blesses me with but I'd be happy with two!!

I'm an only child, but I want a big family. I think 4 would be great if there's 3y age gap between them all.
