This isn't your typical baby names thread. What names are guilty pleasure names, aren't necessarily names you would actually name your kids? Not because there's anything wrong with them, but sometimes we have our reasons for bypassing a name we love.

I'd have to throw a vote towards Matilda.

Alice. I like the name a lot, but I always think of the Brady Bunch 😂

I actually have two friends, one who has a daughter named Alice, and the other Eleanor. When Alice turned one, she had an Alice in "One-derland" theme for her birthday. It was so cute!

Judy! It was my grandma's name too but idk if I could actually use it...I looked it up on baby center for popularity and wow! lol

Genevieve— husband says everyone will mispronounce it but then gave he the baby a name that everyone seems prone to mispronounce.

So I totally said screw it for my third kid and named him Ford, which we decided at the last minute after the birth. It was the guilty pleasure name I thought I'd never have the guts to use as a real name. Now we love it!

Another guilty pleasure name is Delilah. Beautiful name but the family is religious and the bible story of Delilah is not one that I would want to associate with my child. On its own the name sounds nice.

Mine would be Hunter, I would never pick this name now since my ex was a huge hunter.

Okay, I love destination names such as Madrid and Israel. Of course the Madrid I know was conceived in Madrid, Spain... so nice story to go with it.

I've always love the name Cheyenne but cringe at the thought of who it reminds me of. lol

OOOOO I love this thread! I'm a big fan of Cash for a boy (I may even choose it but my hubby wouldn't). I also like Willa or Willow for a girl but I have a William.

Vidalia and Chrysanthemum for girls, but I know I'd get all kinds of eye rolls from our families.

I loved Anabelle, and then that creepy movie about the possessed doll came out.  Totally ruined.
