My bff is throwing my baby shower and obviously I'm a bit in the know as this is my second. We wanted to do some fun games, and something to get the dads involved as this is a family event. Any new games anyone has tried? We have the usual..baby bingo, candy bar diaper etc.

The game that was the biggest hit at my baby shower was "Beer Belly or Baby Bump".  I think my sister found it on Amazon but everyone thought it was hilarious and had so much fun with it!  And I thought it was really unique!

Blindfolding and making people taste and guess baby foods from jars!

I love the diaper and candy bar game too!  I feel like that is a great game for couples.  Another one is to have baby dolls and time everyone to see who can put a diaper on and dress the baby the fastest while being blindfolded!

We love BINGO, or guess the mom's belly with toilet paper.  I also really liked where they did a questionnaire of who did they think would do this.. One of the questions was who will be the screaming one in the delivery room- and they held up the husband or wife show. Haha it was funny and good laughs.

There's a funny one when you freeze ice cubes with miniature babies in them, and the guest suck on them until they reach the ice cube. Kind of weird but people get into it and it's funny.

I played a game where you melt candy bars in diapers and get the guests to taste them blindfolded and guess. It got some laughs.

Just one word of advice for everyone doing a shower... don't do TOO many games.  I was recently at a shower and they played so many games that people started leaving and not caring who won or not.  I mean there was like 10 games in a row. It was exhausting!!! 2-3 games is plenty!

If you are trying to involve the dad and other men, perhaps you could play the game where there is a list of quotes or things from Mommy and Daddy, and guests have to decide which person said or did that thing.  For example, "I am enjoying pregnancy" or "I hope the baby looks like me"

We played a game that you have a pillowcase full of baby related items (pacifier, comb, syringe, etc.) and you have to guess all the items by touch.

Spin a baby bottle. The people at each end give some advice about childrearing or some encouraging words. You'd be surprised all the laughter and wisdom that is shared from this game.

We did one where someone created a playlist of songs with the word "baby" in them, and we divided into teams. We had to see which team could name more of the songs. It was fun.

This isn't a game, but I really loved this about my baby shower.  Instead of the guests bringing a card, they gave a book with a personalized message in the front cover.  I love it because I think of these people every time I read their book!  And it is a great way to start building your kid's library!

I like the one where one person feeds the other person while they are blind folded (the feeder is blind folded). That's always fun. I love the one where you get a banner and you have a limited time to wrap your partner and make it look like a diaper. Hilarious times!

This has been a hilarious big hit at a couple of showers I've been to.... porn vs labor lol https://www.etsy.com/market/labor_or_porn

We are just having a BBQ with no games 😊  I have never liked the games and always hated playing them and I think it's just not super fun. We are just having a big party with lots of food and friends to celebrate. I don't think people should feel forced into the whole game thing, so nobody should feel bad if they don't have games at their shower. To each their own!

Everyone cuts a string  or ribbon the size they think your belly is...closest wins!

I like the one where you can’t say “baby” with either a safety pin or a necklace and have to give it up if someone catches you saying it.

I like guessing how big you are that was fun for mine! There are lots of ideas on Pinterest though some really good ones
