ohhhh bilingual books are a great idea! my MIL & FIL are both Mexican and I think they would LOVE to hear their grandkids speaking some Spanish.

My MIL has been buying my kids their books so I have a wide range going on. My favorite are the mixed short story books because the books are big enough to where I don't have to make much storage for the books. My space is so limited.
Both of my boys LOVED Brown Bear from a very young age. Some other great ones are Goodnight Moon, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Where the Wild Things Are, The Gruffalo, Llama Llama Red Pajama, and so many more!
We love any easy to read books for baby! You should sign up for Dolly Partons imagination library! you get a free book every month!
chica chica boom boom is definitely my fave
- Goodnight Moon
- The Giving Tree
- anything Dr. Suess
- I'll always love you!
Love this thread and the responses! Some of our favorites:
- Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes by Mem Fox
- The Napping House by Audrey Wood
and don't forget the nursery rhymes! So important for baby to hear over and over, there are dozens of illustrated collections that are really beautiful.
The Giving Tree is such a great choice!

I love you stinky face and small Dr. Seuss books (The Nose book, the Foot Book) were our favorites!
Stand Back Said the Elephant, I'm Going to Sneeze!
and the Little Blue Truck books are great
By far my favorite book for children is Oh the Places You'll Go even as an adult I'll read it and cry sometimes. It's just a really nice guide plus bonus the audible version is amazing!
Llama llama Red Pajama is a book my toddler wants to read again and again. She also just loves to sit and look at the pictures. Theres a whole series too so if your child enjoys the original, theres more
Anything by Sandra Boyton. So cute!!
Where the Wild Things Are is always a classic!
Giraffes Can't ance, any of there Where's Baby flip books, and any of the Bizzy Bear books are my kids favorites. You can find them on Amazon for pretty reasonable. They're board books so they hold up better.

Our kid also loves to learn Spanish, but he does it by using specific language learning applications for smartphone...
