Any couples here with different religions? My cousin is a devout Catholic and her husband is a practicing Buddhist. Maybe I'm being too nosy about this, but I've always wondered how that works and how children are reared in that situation. I'm not judging or anything -- just genuinely would like to know, and I'm embarrassed to ask my cousin.

We were raised in different religions, we don't attend church, instead we tell our kids both views and even the views of other religions (in a positive, non-biased way) and plan to let them decide!

This is a good question I'd like to follow to see what people ask. I think being of two religions is probably better than one not believing in anything at all because you can at least agree on a spiritual element in life.

We have a spilt house- Muslim and Baptist. We agreed to raise the baby under both religions and when he gets old enough to decide which journey he wants to take, he can make the decision for himself.

If it doesn't cause trouble for the couple, it's actually great for kids to see their parents practicing different religions so they grow up knowing they can subscribe to whatever beliefs feel right to them as individuals. To see their parents being respectful of each other's beliefs is great role modeling for getting along well in society!
