My husband and I have been trying to conceive for about a year and a half now with no luck. Although we have gotten checked and we are both good candidates for having babies we have not had any results. We are getting tired of these hopeful false pregnancies and started discussing the possibility of perhaps adopting a baby. If we did go this route we wanted to adopt a baby that can use rescuing. For example, I saw a documentary about the babies that are left at various safe-houses throughout China. The babies in those situations are abused and severely neglected. We don't want to just adopt a child but save a life if we can. China is one option but I was looking into other options because the need for these babies is World-wide. Any suggestions on adoption locations?

There are some countries that get overlooked for adoption because they aren't as big or don't have as many resources as big countries like China. For example, Sri Lanka. Or I know India has many children in desperate need. There is also the possibility of adopting domestically; there are many women in poverty or no position to raise a child who would love to find a loving adoptive couple. Best of luck!

I am single mother of a newborn baby and I am seriously seeking for a God fearing and loving home to adopt my baby. The baby was born healthy, we have no health issues . I don't smoke, I don't drink, I am not into drugs, I am just desperate single woman who has been abandoned . I want the best for the child and I will very much love to share more information and pictures of us, if you are interested send me a direct email. Please only serious contact. I want a private adoption , I am not looking to go into long procedures because
I want the best for the child. Please if you are not looking to adopt , do not contact me or judge me for my action. I am the one wearing the shoe that pains me . If you are single or married I will welcome you . Send me a direct email: rlyndsay9@gmail.com

We actually adopted through social services after becoming licensed foster parents. While becoming a foster parent is not for the faint of heart, it got us our baby girl. Wherever you go to adopt, you can feel confident with one thing....you are giving a child a better life. good luch

There are many many orphans in the U.S. that are in need of good homes.

I agree with Mary. Adoption is a very admirable way to grow a family. Best of luck to you!
