I love using Ibotta and Ebates for 'cash back' opportunities with purchases. Ibotta is good because it extends to groceries. Ebates is good because the percentages of cash back typically is high.

What are some other suggestions???

I have heard of Ebates and have been wanting to use it but I had not heard of Ibotta. I will be checking it out. Thanks for the information.

Shopkick is a cool app that you can use to earn points towards gift cards! I use it all the time

Sadie posted this 25 February 2019

If you shop online get the Ebates extension. It automatically connects to your account & ensures you get the cash back

Ibotta and Checkout 51 are great for groceries

Linda posted this 15 March 2019

Ibotta, Ebates, Honey are the ones I use. It’s nice cash here and there.

Ann posted this 26 March 2019

I had never really thought of doing this... will have to try it!

Maya posted this 26 March 2019

Is it time consuming?

Try swagbucks, you can get amazon giftcards.

Amy posted this 08 May 2019

Oh, I didn't know about any of these! Thanks for the info!

Savannah posted this 08 May 2019

I’ve used Inotta and stuff and sometimes I feel like the things I buy aren’t on there!! I don’t want to buy the random stuff on there just to get $.25 back. I’ll give it a go. I downloaded Shopkick but haven’t used it. I’ll keep giving these a go.

Jane posted this 09 May 2019

Ebates isn't time consuming. You just link through their page when you're ordering online. I know they have an app download and a way to do it in store, but I've never done it.

Is it time consuming?

How does Ebates work with kid related items? What items are we finding?

Jenny posted this 22 May 2019

I got introduced to Fetchrewards through a friend of mine...liked the concept and the rewards they give. Basically about scanning the receipts of all your recent purchases on to their app. And they do have some very interesting rewards and bonus points that they keep giving.

AJ posted this 23 May 2019

Oh!!! This is great information. I'll definitely be using this going forward.

user9 posted this 23 May 2019

I felt the same with Ibotta, but at least you can get a few cents with just a receipt! I have found that the longer I have used it, the more they have picked up items that I actually buy. I think it is now intentionally recommended items I would buy based on what I have bought in the past. Maybe it's worth a second chance?

Love swagbucks, it's super easy to use and there are multiple ways to earn the swagbucks.

Pepper posted this 07 June 2019

Thanks for the tips. Do these sites offer signup codes where the referrer gets points? I am considering signing up for these sites. If anyone has codes that will let them earn more points for referring someone, let me know. If I end up signing up, I may use your code.

Kayleigh posted this 09 June 2019

I've used Ebates, Honey & Shopkicks the most!  Shopkicks takes a little more effort, but it does add up to earning gift cards over time.

Same! Game changer!

Ibotta, Ebates, Honey are the ones I use. It’s nice cash here and there.

Coupons! Those are probably old fashioned but they have virtual coupons and that typically helps a lot.

Michelle posted this 11 July 2019

Anyone use DOSH? Is that what it's called? Is that the same thing?

Emily posted this 19 July 2019

If you do a lot of online shopping, check out the Honey app/extension on chrome. It literally scans tons of discount coupons for you and finds you the most savings. I love it and it saves me money every time!

I love Ibotta! But I also love Walmart Grocery Pickup.  Does anyone know if you can use Ibotta with it?

Olivia posted this 08 August 2019

I like Acorns because it takes your change from purchases and rounds to the nearest dollar and puts that change into your Acorn accounts.  Then at Christmastime, I use it to buy gifts.

Renee posted this 08 August 2019

Ebates is the best!! I like to shop at Target and use their weekly ad and app to combine coupons and cartwheel savings. I registered for the baby registry and received a 15% coupon, so I use that too. If I shop online at Target I definitely use Ebates for that extra cashback

Christy posted this 22 August 2019

Ibotta is all I use! It is so awesome!

Rachele posted this 27 August 2019

Ebates is the best!!! Ibotta is okay but I like Ebates and honey better.

Just a head's up - Ebates has been acquired by Rakuten and now goes by that name. Same platform!

Also, Honey and CouponCabin is another extension that be used for cash back savings or coupons.

I never do these things because I feel like they must be extra work, but sounds like maybe I need to try!

Jenn posted this 23 September 2019

I love using Ebates!  I have never tried Ibotta, I will need to check that out.  I shop at Target way to much, so I love their cartwheel coupons!

Emma posted this 23 September 2019

I also us Ibotta, I love when I find a deal where you can get the product for free. I think that there is another app similar called checkout51.

Megan posted this 25 September 2019

I've been using the Fetch app. You upload your grocery receipts and get points. It takes awhile to get enough for a gift card but it's super easy. It also lets you see how much you've been spending if you're into budgeting.

Imogen posted this 27 September 2019

Ebates is definitely my fav go to for online shopping. Easy money for something you're already buying!

Norah posted this 27 September 2019

I'm going to look into fetch rewards. I know that receipts are worth money because they are used to study consumer habits, pricing and are valuable information. WalMart and prolly other evaluate and analyze EVERY receipt and so I too should make a few pennies scanning my own receipts, why not?

Stephanie posted this 10 November 2019

I use a combination of Ibotta, Swagbucks and coupons!

Lynn posted this 10 November 2019

Get the Ebates extension

I have never tried this but I feel like I should I have had a lot of people recommend it to me. I like to use my credit card points for fun things like gift cards and stuff. It's like bonus cash I forget we have so when a meltdown burned dinner day happens I can literally throw in the towel and go out to eat hha.

Liz posted this 20 February 2020

I have never head of fetch. How does it work?

Mary posted this 20 February 2020

I love ebates. Never heard of the others, but willing to try them. The more savings the better.

Mina posted this 26 February 2020

Honey!! It's an easy plugin that automatically applies discount / promo codes and then on many sites you also earn points toward gift cards.

Lily posted this 12 March 2020

Use Acorns. It automatically pulls savings from the money you spend. I now have 500 dollars saved from the spending I do and I can cash out when I want to.

Alison posted this 16 March 2020

I use ibotta, shopkick, and Fetch. I can submit the same receipt on each app and build points or cash back.

Emma posted this 16 March 2020

Receipt Hog, IBotta, Rakuten, I clip a few coupons, Kroger onine coupons and they send me some customer specific coupons for frequently bought items. I buy in bulk and save a bit that way at Sam's Club
