THE SAFETY OF TRICYCLIC ANTIDEPRESSANTS DURING PREGNANCY OR BREASTFEEDING

 

THIS MEDICATION CAN CAUSE HARM TO YOUR BABY: Certain tricyclic antidepressants such as clomipramine may be associated with an increased risk of harming developing babies. Tricyclic antidepressants are associated with an increased risk of neonatal withdrawal symptoms. Caution is advised if continuing this medication during pregnancy or while nursing a baby.
